  1. NO.As police officer Sjn Jamal shouldn't demand extra pay for his work and it consider part of his work. Stipulated in Police Act1967

  2. Police are sometimes paid an allowance to travel and to meet basic costs when attending to certain matters in such as attendancce in court. This includes matters where they are called upon to give evidence in person. If the terms of employment at Sgt. rank and the particular case or the distance to which he has to travel or the other inconveniences he has to be put through justifies demand for extra allowance then he has a right to apply for it.

On the other hand if it is part of his job description to attend to court and to give evidence in person he may not be entitled for the extra pay.
